Have you ever wondered where some of our Halloween traditions come from?
Throughout October Half Term (22nd October - 30th October 2022) we will be running drop in workshops where you can learn about and have a go at 3 historical Halloween and Samhain traditions.
You will be making:
- Salt dough skulls for our ancestors
- Animal masks to scare away malicious spirits
- Fire themed paper lanterns
Activities are running from 10:30 – 15:30 in our learning centre (above the museum). Suitable for children aged 2+, tickets are required for all children over 2+ and they must be accompanied by an adult at all times (adults do not need a ticket).
This event is a drop in session, with the ticket you can attend anytime between 10:30am until 15:00pm. The family learning activity will close at 15:30pm.
